Atlas Junk Removal is a proud sponsor of the Vancouver Island Surfrider Foundation,

an environmental non-profit organization devoted to preserving the world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Volunteer sourced beach clean-ups take place on a monthly basis along Victoria’s coastline and assist in the preservation and protection of the places that truly define Vancouver Island.

In early 2015 we stepped in to volunteer our disposal services, providing a riposte to the over three hundred pounds of garbage pulled from the beaches at every turnout. Our contributions facilitate the removal of much larger washed up items often left on the beaches with no suitable form of transport or disposal. We are excited about our continued involvement with Surfrider, and the opportunity to help positively influence the community on responsible product usage and disposal practices.

Clean ups take place on a monthly basis, on the second Sunday of every month. All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to help make a difference. Gloves and buckets will be provided, as well as snacks and beverages, so bring your friends and enjoy a morning on the beach!
